First we will provide you with an estimate based on the actual source files of your document. During the estimating process we will gather any information needed from you for creating the eBook you’re looking for. That can include certain functions, inclusions or omissions of content, enhancements, etc. We will also make recommendations during this time for the design of the book to enhance readability and adhere to good design practices.
The next step is where the magic happens. Depending on the type of source files you are able to provide us with, we will develop a workflow for producing clean XHMTL, CSS, and XML files for your document. During this stage we can also format and edit enhancements like audio and video (see our Enhanced Ebooks page) and embed it into your book. As each document is complete we validate it through W3C’s online validation tools. This is how we ensure the code is as clean and functional as possible.
Once all of the documents are assembled into the respective eBook formats we will test them thoroughly for functionality. This includes testing links, table of contents, readability, image quality, and the various functions built into the different mainstream devices.
Finally, when the book has passed through the rigorous testing and has proven to be 100% functional we will deliver both the ePub and Kindle formatted book for you to distribute to the various eBook publishing stores available to you.
We guarantee the functionality of our books against the current versions of reader software available at the time of service. Sometimes e-reader and tablet makers may change their software, resulting in the breaking of some eBook functionality. We handle these instances on a case by case basis.
